iMessage Sync configures your Mac to prevent sleep by default. We also provide a setup guide for Energy Saver settings and recommend enabling auto-login and app launch on restart. If the app goes offline, GHL workflow triggers queue and deliver on reconnect. An uptime monitor alert fires to your email the moment the app disconnects.
Android numbers are not iMessage-capable. GoGHL detects this via the "Message Capability" workflow action and falls back automatically to SMS via your carrier - or to WhatsApp if you have GoGHL's WhatsApp integration active. iPhone contacts get blue bubbles. Android contacts get the next-best channel. You configure the fallback order.
Apple does not operate a formal Business API for iMessage - this is a personal channel, and there is inherent risk in using it at volume. We recommend staying under 50–75 unique new contacts per day per Apple ID, keeping messages conversational, and not sending bulk-blast content. Using a dedicated Apple ID (not your personal one) is standard practice. Multiple Apple IDs across multiple devices distribute risk further. We document all of this in the onboarding guide.
When an iMessage comes in, GoGHL matches the sender's number against contacts across all connected GHL sub-accounts. The thread routes to the sub-account where that contact exists. If the contact exists in multiple sub-accounts, you define a priority rule at setup. Outbound messages send from the Apple ID assigned to that sub-account.
Yes, on the Agency plan. You get a custom domain (app.youragency.com), your logo, and client portals with role-based access - Salesperson, Manager, and Client tiers. Clients log in and see your brand. GoGHL does not appear anywhere in the interface. You set your own resale price.
